Plot
According to his mother’s request, Nat, a young architect, unwillingly takes a journey to visit 9 different temples in order to clean up his bad karma. He is accompanied by Poon, his beautiful columnist girlfriend, and Sujitto, a young novice monk. All three characters have different purposes for taking this trip. But later they discover that they were put together for an unforeseeable reason. The karma of one person can effect the karma of others as well. Horrifying acts done in their previous lives reveal themselves as the journey goes by. The more they try to clean up Nat’s bad karma by making merit, the closer they get to them. This journey is going to change their faith forever. How is Nat going to clean up his own mess? Would Nat be forgiven? How can an act of making merit overcome relentless vengeance?

Fai and Theung are good buddies. They want to get some money for gamble and foolishly decide to go to a Chinese graveyard to steal money from a corpse. Synopsis:

With his last words, Ai Diao's late father instructed him to look for an old pal in a southern village. Ai Diao arrived to find the village fair in full swing. He won the boxing competition, a buffalo racing competition, and the attentions of the village beauty; he also managed to upset two local gangsters.

After the competitions, Ai Diao saw a thief stealing the head of a Buddha image in a temple; he chased the thief and managed to retrieve the relic. On his way back to the village, he was caught in a storm and accosted by the angry gangsters. They beheaded him and left before a bolt of lightning struck the Buddha head, melting it into Ai Diao's dead body.
