Kisahnya bermula apabila Pendita Dzulkarnain mewariskan permata Wilis dan Pedang Citra Dewata kepada anak muridnya Adipura dan keturunannya saja selepas Grakus dan Gempita berpaling tadah kepada dunia jahat. Grakus dan Gempita terus memburu Adipura untuk merampas senjata sakti itu.

Namun, Adipura sempat menyerahkan Permata Wilis kepada kedua-dua anaknya, Sutera dan Arjuna sebelum terbunuh dalam pertarungan. Arjuna dan Sutera diselamatkan adik Adipura, Cintasari. Arjuna diserahkan kepada Saha, seorang nelayan yang baru kehilangan anak di Kampung Bayu Samudera manakala jejak adiknya tidak diketahui.

Selepas 18 tahun, Arjuna membesar sebagai seorang jejaka yang tampan, bersopan santun dan menggemari silat. Dalam suatu insiden, Arjuna secara tidak sengaja menggunakan kuasanya di hadapan orang kampung. Maka, Pendita Dzulkarnain dan Grakus sedar akan waris Adipura dan Permata Wilis sudah ditemui. Masing-masing menghantar pengikutnya untuk mendapatkan Arjuna.

Keluarga angkat Arjuna terbunuh manakala Arjuna mengikut Satria Aduka dan Suria ke Kampung Rembang selepas diberitahu asal usulnya. Arjuna berkenalan dengan isteri dan anak Satria Aduka, Mak Bunga dan Sutera. Tanpa mengetahui bahawa Arjuna dan Sutera ialah adik beradik kandung, mereka menjadi sangat rapat dan mesra. Arjuna belajar ilmu dan hikmat untuk meningkatkan kesaktiannya.

Rombongan Pendekar membuat persediaan ke Bandar Di Raja untuk bertemu Pendita Dzulkarnain. Di sana, Arjuna akan bertemu dengan Pendita Dzulkarnain dan cucunya, Cempaka. Bersediakah Arjuna menjadi seorang pendekar sakti yang ditakdirkan untuk menjadi waris kepada Permata Wilis dan Pedang Citra Dewata?
